Scuba Diving

Scuba Diving is basically underwater diving in which equipment known as "scuba" is used. Scuba is a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus. There are various modes of underwater diving, i.e., freediving, surface-supplied divingsaturation diving, etc, but scuba diving is the most preferable one because you can stay in the water longer and go deeper and enjoy the serene marine life.

I experienced scuba diving for the very first time when I was in Havelock island Andaman. Havelock island is now renamed as Swaraj Dweep. we were supposed to do it in Port Blair but because of the weather, we couldn't.  A diving expert was sent along with me who taught me how to communicate with him through hand signals, how to remove water from the mask without removing it, how to breathe underwater, how to equalize my ears and way to spit. I was worried and agitated at the same time before going for it.

I wore the mask and swimfin and the trainer helped me explore the marine life. They say time flies, that day I actually realized this. That was a tranquil and blissful experience. That half an hour made an indelible impression on me. One of the most incredible things that happened underwater was that I "found Nemo". Well jokes apart, Thankyou Andaman. Hope will visit the place again for more gratification.
